FRED Horse Blind Contour Drawing/Painting
Fred forms part of my Ugly Art movement where I use techniques to create purposefully ugly art. Except that it is rarely ugly. This is to focus on the process rather than the product to help unlock my creativity.
Fred measures 29.7cm x 42cm.
Fred is created with a blind contour drawing in oil pastels on 300gsm hot pressed watercolour paper. I then used gouache to add even more colour to the work. He is A3 in size.
When flattening this artwork for framing only apply a very light spray of water on the back of the art work. Do not apply it to the front as the gouache is water activated and this will cause water marks.
